Former Ghanaian player Charles Dua admitted to lying to the Black Star managers in 1996, trying to blackmail themfor money. The former Olympic athlete was spotted by Ghana in any competitive competition, but he had trained with former coach Linus Israel and the late Emanuel Avrani.

He admitted that before going to Egypt, when they removed him from the team, he lied to the Black Star managers to blackmail them for money. “For a while, I was abandoned before going to Egypt.
