On Sunday December 5, Award-winning actress Jackie Appiah and her Jackie Appiah Foundation presented an electric-operated borehole to the people of Kogni in the Tamale Metropolis of the Northern Region, as part of her 38th birthday.
Apart from the borehole, the actress donated student mattresses, school bags, food, toiletries, among other items.
Prior to the donation of the items a football match was played in honour of Jackie.
The community also presented some gifts to Jackie Appiah including live guinea fowls.
In the last decade, Jackie Appiah has always celebrated her birthday with deprived people in the society, with special focus on children and women. This however was the first time Jackie has flown out of Accra to celebrate the day.
