Lawyer John Kuma, DeputyMinister of Finance , presented laboratory tools and equipment to Onwe senior High School . Lawyer John Ampuntuya Kuma, who also serves as the Deputy Minister of Finance and Ejisu City Councillor, presented scientific tools and equipment to Onwe senior High School on behalf of the Minister of Education.

The headmaster of the school Mr. Isaac Twum Amankwa explained the purpose of the meeting and praised the minister’s involvement in the search for materials for the restoration of the scientific laboratory. On behalf of the faculty, staff, and all students, he expressed his gratitude to the minister for his kindness, and through the minister, he pleaded with the government to provide other infrastructure for the school.

In addition, he begged members of the Congress to consider the boarding school status of the school. The newly appointed Director of Education of Ejisu City expressed his appreciation for Onwemanhene Nana Asokwa Danka Gyeabour (II)’s great contribution to improving quality education in the city. He also praised the President of Ghana, Nana Akufu Addo, for initiating the free S.H.S. policy. Finally, he implored members of Congress to also consider other schools in the city.

Finally, he advised students to take their studies seriously. The representative stated at the meeting that Onwe High School is one of his favorite schools, and together with other stakeholders, it will make it one of the best schools in the area.

He added that he is ready to provide all required materials to the school to facilitate teaching and learning. He promised that, Parliament will soon grant the boarding school status he seeks. “In order to update the status of the boarding school, a dormitory will be built to facilitate it.” added. In short, he encourages students to study more so that they can reach the highest heights on the academic ladder.
