Ghanaian singer Gyakie said she doesn’t just focus on making hits.In an interview with Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the ever-popularproducer stated that she was only determined to put aside the songs that would make Ghana top the map.

I’m here to make good music, to change my life and my family ... So that is someone’s opinion, I don’t think that’s the way it is … My motivation is where music takes me. I don’t make music because I want to be popular. If my song is not popular, I don’t care … If you listen to my song, I value my lyrics more … My motivation is to promote Ghanaian music in the world. In order to bring foreign markets to Ghana, Gyakie told Andy Dosty.

According to the daughter of veteran senior musician Nana Acheampong, the main agenda is to take our voice outside of Ghana.

she further explained that just because your song is popular does not mean it has an impact.

Gyakie rose to fame after her song “Forever” spread throughout Africa. This song comes from her EP “SEED”, whichentered the top 10 on the Billboard Global ThrillerRankings in December 2020. In March 2021, Gyakie released a remixed version of her song, which topped the charts. It features Omah Lay, a revolutionary artist from Nigeria.
